Le Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel et de la communication (CSAC) édicte une directive à respecter par les médias et les candidats durant la période électorale pour éviter « tout dérapage qui risquerait de porter atteinte à la paix sociale en RDC ». Il a annoncé, à cet effet, lundi 23 octobre, quelques séances au cours desquelles sera vulgarisée ladite directive à l’intention des médias et des candidats à l’élection présidentielle.
« Nous demandons à tous les intervenants sur les médias opérant en RDC de faire attention pour ne pas développer dans les médias, les discours d’incitation à la haine, à la tribalisation des enjeux, d’incitation à la violence, d’atteinte à la vie privée et à la dignité des individus mais aussi de ne pas verser dans les injures ou encore moins dans les propos de nature à violer les texte de lois règlementaires en vigueur en RDC », a expliqué Gaudens Banza Tiefolo, un des membres de la plénière du CSAC.
Le CSAC demande également aux journalistes candidats de « se libérer de leur rédaction pour ne pas être juge et partie ».
Depuis cinq jours déjà, le CSAC dit avoir déployé dans les provinces ses équipes pour cet exercice. Et à Kinshasa, la vulgarisation débute le jeudi 26 octobre.
